The Guardians of the Cedars issued the following weekly communiqué:

Finally, after 64 days the Lebanese authorities have released the three members of the Party's leadership, our comrades Habib Younis, Naji Audeh and Joseph Taouq. This goes a long way to vindicate what we have said all along, namely that the charges brought against them were fabricated and false, and that their arrest was political.

We would like to thank the Lebanese judiciary for this honorable and dignified judgment that restores the innocence of the Party, provided justice, and proved that the judiciary is above all political conflicts.
